Detailed Review of Oppo Enco Buds 2
Detailed overview of Oppo Enco Buds 2
The OPPO Enco Buds 2 are well constructed, are rated IPX4, and have a sleek, premium case. Compared to the majority of other wireless earbuds in the category, the earbuds provide fairly neutral audio. In addition, they have a USB Type-C charging port and good battery life. Overall, did not encounter any serious problems with the Enco Buds 2, which speaks a lot in the price range.
Comfort and Design of Oppo Enco Buds 2
The first Enco Buds had stemless earbuds and a case resembling a pebble. Only white was offered. The Enco Buds 2 has a fresh look thanks to its small, hard plastic, round case with a diameter of 5 ½ cm. It is 38 grams in weight (on my scale). The available colors of these earbuds are black and white. Enco Buds 2 have a matte finish and a dual-tone design that deters fingerprints. It has a black exterior and a sky-blue interior. The case has a glossy band running along its side and a matte finish overall. A USB-C port and an LED indicator are located inside the shiny band, respectively. The Enco Buds 2 cannot be manually connected to another Bluetooth device using a physical button on the case.
Touch Controls and Connectivity of Oppo Enco Buds 2
Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity is supported by the Enco Buds 2. SBC and AAC Bluetooth codes are supported. The AptX codec, which is present on more expensive TWS earbuds, is not supported. The earbuds are not compatible with connecting to two devices at once. Users must open the case’s lid on the Buds 2 and look for the earbuds on the device they want to connect to make a connection. As OPPO phones run ColorOS, the pairing process is seamless on those devices. The touch controls are effective as they react quickly. The Enco Buds 2 supports 94ms low latency for lag-free audio performance while gaming. The HeyMelody app has a toggle that can be used to turn it on or off.
Call Quality and Audio Experience of Oppo Enco Buds 2
There are several TWS earbuds available with 10mm audio drivers. It stands out from the competition as it has a titanized diaphragm dynamic driver. Titanized drivers can typically be created to provide an accurate reproduction of sounds. On the Enco Buds 2, OPPO concentrated on providing an impressive bass boost experience. Users of the HeyMelody app can use the “Bass Boost” option under the Enco Live Sound Effects section to get a deeper bass. Users can use the equalizer function on third-party apps to get even richer bass. When making calls, the listening experience with other people was not an issue.
Charging and Battery Life of Oppo Enco Buds 2
According to OPPO, the Enco Buds 2’s battery life is up to 28 hours when used with the charging case. The earbuds can operate for up to 7 hours on a single charge. Each earbud contains a 40mAh battery, while the case has a 460mAh battery. The charging case’s battery charge increased by 20% from zero to about 14 minutes. According to the company, 10 minutes of charging enables users to listen to 1 hour of music. It takes roughly 200 minutes to charge the earbuds and case completely. While charging, the LED indicator next to the USB-C port glows. Users can access the HeyMelody app to check the status of their charging.
