Detailed Review of POCO M4 Pro 5G
Just like the previous Poco M3 Pro 5G, the Poco M4 Pro 5G is a budget phone from Xiaomi that aims to get the most value out of a small budget. When choosing a smartphone, price is frequently the first and most crucial factor to take into account, and the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G definitely delivers in terms of affordability. You receive a respectable-looking smartphone with a sizable, bright screen in exchange for your money.
With the Poco M4 Pro 5G, we have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 that is perfectly functional. Even smartphones at the lower end of the market’s price range now have a minimum refresh rate of 90Hz, and the motion and scrolling are pleasingly fluid. Though the bottom chin is slightly larger than the rest, the bezels around the screen are thin and nice. The selfie camera is concealed in a circular cutout at the top of the screen, which is the only obstruction to the display. There are two other modes to choose from if you do not like the default appearance.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G offers more flair in terms of design than many other phones at the same price. It has a shiny, two-tone back and an oversized camera bump. Of course, it is all plastic, but it is nicely done plastic that fits the hand snugly. The phone weighs 195g and measures 163.6 x 75.8 x 8.8mm. When you look at the phone, the volume rocker and the power button are the only physical buttons you would find. On the bottom edge of the Poco M4 Pro 5G, Xiaomi has even managed to fit a 3.5mm headphone jack in addition to USB-C for charging and data transfer.
The Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G’s dual-lens 50MP+8MP rear camera is not going to win any best-in-class awards, and while it is not terrible, it is definitely one of the weaker components of the overall package. You get an incredibly wide-angle lens, which is great for taking photos of breathtaking landscapes, but there is no optical zoom or digital zoom. A fairly standard 16MP camera is located on the front and produces only average photos.
