Detailed Review of Apple iPhone 13
The hype around the iPhone 13 release was there for quite some time. We can surely say it is one of the most awaited phones to make its footprints in the market. It won’t be wrong to say that the iPhone 13 from Apple also lives up to the expectations that have been levied up on it. From supreme low light capabilities in its camera performance to a full day long battery performance the iPhone is stocked with features at the same price as its predecessor with much to offer.
The iPhone 13 64 gb variant is no more available, which seems like a smart move. Nobody will be willing to buy extra space after sending a good amount on the phone purchase. The iPhone comes with a starting variant of 128 gb. Now let us look in depth at the review so see will it be right to switch from iPhone 12 to iPhone 13, is iPhone 13 a smart investment or not.
The iPhone 13 has not made many changes in design. The notch has been reduced to some amount which has increased the display screen size remarkably. This was a feature quite common in the android phones but lately Apple is also making these changes , though it is not so big, but it’s expected to to make the transition in iPhone 14. Second big change that can be seen is the camera lens placed in a perfect diagonal shape at the back . The diagonal placement of the camera lens at the back is now better as the LED flash can be clearly visible, and the angular view is wider.
The iPhone 13 now comes with 5 colors , red, starlite, blue, pink and midnight options. In terms of built quality the phone is at par with any of the other premium phones or can be said better. The smartphone iPhone 13 is way lighter than the iPhone 12 even though it is packed with a bigger battery. This is one of the catchy points and while holding the phone it can be easily gripped with one hand without any slippery edges.
Undoubtedly, the iPhone 13 comes with great viewing and screen experience. In the display aspect the small change in the notch though has not impacted the viewing experience but for gaming and multimedia it seems to be a great change to watch out for. The brightness quotient meter for iPhone 13 is above par, to speak for it when used indoors the brightness levels should be adjusted at 50% at maximum, while taken outdoors under bright light, 100% will serve more than good. The touchscreen experience is seemingly good and as expected from the Apple series. The transitions between apps and screens is pretty seamless without any lag or jitters and is very smooth to use. The face Id is pretty standard and never falters, except when occasional iOS updates happen then it is prone to minor lags.
Apple is known for performance beast mode. They never go wrong in this department. To make it even better the smartphone comes with a new and improved A15 bionic chip and its armor to boost in performance. Although many did complain that with the latest iOS 15 update there were some jitters faced which can be overlooked, as all will be fixed by the next iOS update. If one is using the phone as its primary device with sending emails, browsing apps, downloading movies, watching oTT doing live webinars or shooting videos, this phone will work at ease in all aspects.
In the area of battery performance, there is no comparison to the level of upgrade it has done from its earlier models. Battery life was always a thing which was looked down upon. Thankfully, after careful considerations, the battery has improved considerably making one single charge sometimes last ever more than a day.
The low lights enhancement in the iPhone 13 is one the most remarkable upgrades done by Apple. Apple faced serious flak for their bad low light camera shots, but in this series they have done their job well. The daylight photos are more clear and have a smoothness in it. The portrait mode too looks crisp with the background being totally blurred in this mode. The only place where the phone could work a bit more is in the front selfie camera. Else it looks quite a good smartphone to miss out if you are buying it now.
If you are looking for a smartphone that is extreme in performance and camera then this is the one.
