In fact, 350 nits are typically more than enough for 99 percent of users, whether they would be using the monitor during the day in a well-lit room or at night. The high brightness ratio and wide viewing angles of the Dell G2422HS combine to make it very versatile. 

Panel Type

In spite of your viewpoint, you can clearly see the images on this monitor due to its excellent viewing angles. Just keep in mind that vertical angles of viewing are not as good as horizontal viewing angles so the height adjustment might be beneficial for your unit. The IPS panel is responsible for all of those good qualities.

Response Time and Refresh Rate

This monitor is once again in the middle of the pack with a refresh rate of 165hz, providing a typical standard gaming experience. This one is not just adequate, though, given that the Dell S2522HG is now less expensive, has quick responsiveness, and a 240hz refresh rate, which is better than 165hz for competitive gaming. Hence, this monitor is only recommendable for strong competitive gamers. Also, this display supports Freesync and G-sync functions, ensuring tear-free gaming visuals.
